Our Custom No. 1 Tuxedo is a perfect entry into true made-to-measure, available in a huge selection of fine fabrics that outclasses anything available off-the-rack. Each tuxedo is measured and made just for you, and you have complete discretion over all of the detailing including the lapels (both in width and sizing), shoulder construction, pocket style, vents, pant pockets, side tabs, and rise (yes, we do high-rise). You can also select the buttons, buttonholes, collar, lining, and threads. The tuxedo jacket includes a 100% horsehair half-canvas construction, meaning that it will start shaping to your body as soon as you put it on. Wear something that was made for you, not for someone else.

We have thousands of fabrics available that you can see in our showroom or during a custom consultation.

How It Works

  • 2. We'll send you the try-on garments.
  • 3. During the fitting, our fitter will go over every detail of the fit and make any adjustments we need to get a great fit.
  • 4. We'll get to work making your garment, and you ship the try-ons back to us.
  • 5. You'll practice politely accepting the compliments that are headed your way.

How to measure your jacket size?

Place the tape measure around your upper chest and pull it snug but not tight. Take two or three regular breaths, letting the tape measure expand naturally with each breath. The measured number in inches is your jacket size. We recommend doing this a few times and taking the average number. If you land on an odd number, choose the next even size up.

Let us know what size you currently wear in the waist of chinos or dress trousers. Choose that size. If they fit really tight in the waist and seat, choose one size up.
